A Deep Dive into the Transformative Practice of Yoga Nidra
Mona’s yoga nidra trainings are way more than learning how to teach yoga nidra. They are a transformational experience where you release layers of inner tension and come out feeling lighter, with more wisdom and insight. This training is your opportunity to go beyond the surface and study directly with a master teacher whose work has reshaped how Yoga Nidra is taught and practiced.
This in-depth course is designed for yoga teachers, dedicated students, and wellness professionals who want to expand their understanding of Yoga Nidra and experience its full potential for healing and transformation. Yoga Nidra is a multi-layered practice that can be used to release subconscious and unconscious tensions, manage stress, anxiety, and insomnia, and access expanded states of awareness.
"I’m so grateful to have taken Mona’s Yoga Nidra training at ISHTA. It deepened my personal practice and gave me the tools to bring yoga nidra into my teaching. Mona provided clear insights into each step of the practice, along with the science behind it, and offered various sequencing options for different needs. We explored therapeutic applications like PTSD, chronic pain, and sleep issues, and had plenty of chances to practice and experience the work firsthand. Mona’s knowledge, creativity, and joyful presence made the training truly inspiring. Thank you, Mona."

Developing “Mona Anand’s ISHTA Yoga Nidra
Together with ISHTA Founder, Alan Finger, I developed a nine-step system of yoga nidra called Mona Anand’s ISHTA Yoga Nidra, which we have integrated into the ISHTA 500-Hour Training. I have also created specialized yoga nidra courses, including a 30-hour Foundations Yoga Nidra course, a Yoga Nidra and the Chakras course, and a Yoga Nidra and Ayurveda course. These trainings were initially designed to teach teachers how to guide yoga nidra, but the profound shifts I’ve witnessed in participants have been incredible. As they dive deeper into each of the nine steps, they are able to release past experiences that have colored the lens through which they see life, let go of layers of tension—some conscious, many unconscious—and access an expanded state of awareness. Participants gain clarity about their inner purpose at this stage of life, reconnect with the joy that resides within them, and experience a lightness of being often obscured by the stresses of daily life. The transformation occurs on all levels, leaving them more grounded, clear, and fully aligned.
